The position offers the opportunity of scientific co-creation in the construction of the new institute's focus in construction management and digital construction. The main research topic here is the digital method Building Information Modeling (BIM). BIM not only involves the use of digital building models, but fundamentally changes the methodology and process landscape of the entire life cycle of buildings and infrastructure. This results in fundamentally different approaches in construction and project management, which are scientifically investigated at the institute.
The position includes participation in the pioneering research topic of digital construction. The scientific further qualification (doctorate) is hereby expressly desired. In addition, the area of responsibility includes the supervision of courses and students.
Prerequisites for admission
A completed academic degree (diploma or master's degree) in civil engineering, computer science, industrial engineering or comparable is required. Relevant work experience in construction or digitization is an advantage. Very good German and English skills are expected.
The demanding work requires an excellent analytical ability to think, high goal orientation, personal motivation and commitment as well as the willingness to cooperate in a team and on business trips in the context of (international) cooperation. Joy of teaching and working with students is expected.
On request, a part-time employment can be made possible.
